Great Lakes University is located in Auburn Hills, Michigan, a thriving suburban community located in northern Oakland County, which is 30 miles north of Detroit. Auburn Hills is the home of DaimlerChrysler World Headquarters and “Automation alley,” a high-tech corridor comprised of Fortune 500 companies and international suppliers to the automotive industry.

There are 10 major shopping centers in Oakland County, plus numerous shopping districts in most of the county’s communities. Great Lakes University is surrounded by exciting venues including:
