Computer Requirements

Students must have access to a computer to participate in course work. Students may use the GLU computer lab during open hours. If a student wishes to bring a laptop to use, the following are guidelines for the system.

Students must have, as a minimum, the following hardware and software:

• A Pentium III (or compatible processor) running Windows XP
• 256 MB of RAM
• A CD ROM
• 20 GB hard drive
• A 56K modem
• Internet Service Provider (ISP)
  (provided for residents of dorms)
• Microsoft Office XP Home or Professional
• Netscape 4.7x, 6.2.3 and higher or Internet Explore 5.5. AOL’s browser is not compatible
