MICHIGAN MERIT AWARD-Students of GLU are now eligible to recieve Michigan Merit Award Scolarship money.  The Michigan Merit Award was established by the Michigan legislature in 1999 (Public Act 94) for the high school graduating Class of 2000 and after. The award provides up to $3,000 to MIchigan high school graduates for outstanding performance on their Michigan Educational Assessment Program (MEAP) tests, or the Michigan Merit Exam (Class of 2007 and after). About 50,000 high school graduates earn the award each year.
